A good example of perseverance in the aspect of weight loss is one of the damsels in the Kardashian clan, Khloe. Here is an account of her weight loss journey.

Khloe was born fat, and as a little girl, she had more on her mind than bothering herself with weight loss project. However, as a fully grown woman, she found her destiny in the entertainment industry and her eyes were opened to various opportunities. She soon realized that she could best harness these opportunities if she works on her body. So the journey started, and now, she has lost 40 pounds.

People soon found out the inspiration behind her weight loss project. The ‘Keeping with the Kardashians’ star admitted that it was hard to lose 40 pounds because getting rid of old habits is like trying to get rid of a cherished treasure.

She said that her best way of coping with jests from her peers as a young fat girl was by laughing it off and even flaunting her robustness with pride. But more of her positive energy came from her divorce.  She confessed that she went through depression after the ordeal until she discovered solace in fitness exercise. It was therapeutic, she says, and her depression soon vanished.

Khloe was benevolent enough to show her fans the secrets to her successful efforts in shedding fat.

She started by transforming her bad habits of an eating disorder. She refrained from going the easy way out of weight loss since she knew that she wouldn’t be able to maintain its demands. She explained that she took the gradual process method because all she wanted was to be emotionally balanced. She combined healthy diet system and fitness exercise.

Below is her diet routine.

First on her plan was to eliminate all forms of dairy foods. She sketched her daily eating guideline on paper so that she could remember to follow them strictly.

Her daily meal guideline looks something like a calendar plan. She takes cooked eggs; omelet; oatmeal; scrambled egg and berries for breakfast. Her lunch usually consists of green vegetable salad; sunflower seeds and fish. Then, she sometimes takes a snack of low glycemic fruits. Dinner time? Give Khloe small ration of rice; vegetables and roast chicken breast without its skin.

This is a perfect combination of diet for weight loss process. Essentially, proteins are a fantastic source of energy that keeps you going all day. Eggs contain an awesome amount of protein, minerals, and vitamins that are both fat and water soluble. A good quantity of flakes intake is perfect for getting fiber, and these nutrients keep your stomach satisfied until you are ready to eat again. Fiber is also encasing fat molecules. For getting the best color combination and sweet taste in your meal, employ the consumption of berries such as strawberries and blueberries, in addition to the minerals and vitamins they produce.

Healthy fats richly abound in green vegetables and sunflower seeds. The work of healthy fats mainly is to cut down on inflammation and avert swelling and other weight defects. Omega-3 acids and lean protein can be found in fish. These two essential nutrients aid in muscle development and they hunt down unwanted oxygen from the body.

Her daily workout plan involves so many exercise patterns that keep her fit. They include Cardio,  boxing, running, lunges,  squats,  kettlebell deadlifts, push-ups,  crunches and lots more.

To cap it all, Khloe has this advice to give to those who want to be like her.

She recommended taking at least 4 liters of water daily. It aids the cells in fluid retention that will keep it active and flushes out toxins. It also retains the necessary nutrients needed for internal pH to remain functional.

One should avoid junks and reduce dairy foods in one’s diets, Khloe says. Slacken your sugar consumption and trans fats. Eat only healthy foods like vegetables and fruits.

However, don’t deny yourself totally from your best meals. According to Khloe, you don’t have to stop eating the other foods because you want to lose weight. All you have to is to pick out one day of the week when you can allow yourself to eat your favorite snacks and drinks. However, Khloe warns, ensure not go beyond 500 calorie limit. It will be easier to shed the 500 calories when you are back to dieting so watch the quantity you eat.
