Mathis’s best-selling status in the 20th century was only defeated by Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. Both of his peers are long gone, but the three-time Grammy Hall of Fame inductee is alive and well, although his earliest fans may have some trouble recognizing his aged self today.
