The challenge of reporting from the pitch side at a professional game’s finals is that you can be dragged into the celebrations unexpectedly. Emily Jones, the Fox Sports reporter, was at a baseball field post-game interviewing players when a Powerade drink was poured on her by the players. This is a move she must have expected.
It’s a common trend that participants always seem to accept in good faith and chuckle at. Of course, critics had their say, but not before Jones quipped that it wasn’t a big deal. The hilarious sight didn’t do much to dampen her spirits as she went on with her interview.
