Bret Baier – $6 million
Bret kickstarted his career with a local station in Illinois before seeking out greener pastures. He was appointed by Fox News as a White House correspondent in 2007 and was asked to do an entire coverage of the former American president, George W. Bush’s administration, which he did to the best of his ability. His association with Fox News has been long and fruitful, and right now, he is known to present Special Report with Bret Baier, a TV news and political commentary show.
He also happens to be Fox’s chief political anchor. Baier has been bestowed upon with a Kenneth Y. Tomlinson Award in 2016, a Sol Taishoff Award in 2017, and a Urbino Press Award in 2018. Earning an annual take-home of $6 million, Bret is currently one of the world’s richest journalists.
